Another Figure

Today was a long day... First I was helping with soccer, then supervising at lunch, ultimate frisbee after lunch, then take the kids to the pool. And then the dance.

See at camp we have the dorm building surrounding a little courtyard area. And every week we have a dance in the courtyard. It's pretty nice, one of the counselors is the dj (Sean this time) and it's a party. The kids have a great time.

But I was and still am dead tired after the dance... I started seeing things again while outside...The figure in the woods, standing there watching me...creepy as fuck... Didn't scare me as much this time. Like I'm beginning to get used to it. Still creepy though.

So now I'm in my room with the lights on, writing this post up. I just feel calmer when I'm writing. Takes my mind off things.

Well tonight I'm gonna try sleeping with the lights on... The lights seem to help with my overactive imagination.

I don't know how many of you have seen Silent Night's post but I did not make him an admin! Shouldn't that mean he can't post? Has he hacked my blog? What should I do? What can I do?

Back on Duty

The nightmares have stopped thank God! And just in time too, I think Mitch was beginning to get annoyed with me. He still hasn't let me retake my nighttime post. I guess I'm a little grateful for that.

Although now I don't know about the kids nighttime adventures anymore... Mitch has decided that info was need to know only... And I don't need to know anymore.

Sick Leave

I've asked for sick leave until these nightmares go away... I don't know why they are affecting me more than the kids... I never thought myself as being a pussy... I'm not seeing the figure in the dark anymore so that's good I guess, maybe I'll get some sleep tonight, here's hoping!

Also I looked the figure up on the Internet last night, and other people have seen it too! So I'm not crazy... Instead there's a creeper hanging out in the woods watching kids... Great.

Nightmares

I can't sleep! I keep seeing the figure... It's horrible. Nightmare over and over and over. I've tried sleeping with the light on but I see it out my window. I tried just sitting on my bed but I see it in the shadows. Why is this so terrifying! Damn my imagination! I going to check the Internet for sleep aid... The bright screen has no shadows...

Camp

I slept until 11 today. I normally wake up at seven and I slept though my alarm and was late I ran to the admin office to check in. Mitch turned me around and gave me the day off. I slept until 2, woke up got cereal and now I'm writing this. Feel special guys! I putting your entertainment in my life ahead of more sleep.

But I've been thinking of last night... And now that Ive had my rest I realize I acted like a little kid with an overactive imagination. It was either a tree stump or a rock or just my eyes playing tricks on me... Wow Mitch was right... I do need my sleep. I probably looked like a fool... Almost losing it because I saw a shadow. I'm sorry about that guys,

Figure

They weren't joking!!! I just saw it h figure in the woods the kids weren't lying! The kids saw it I saw it but Mitch won't believe me! He told me to go get some sleep! He think I'm seeing things... Maybe I am... But then the kids wouldn't have seen it too. I don't know what it was... I just saw some kids leave their dorm and decided to follow them... I didn't know they were telling he truth... Why do they keep meeting it! It's horrible! Something that's not supposed to be there but is! It was a dark human shape but it wasn't human... Like a shadow or a ghost or a demon or... Something... I don't know I don't know I don't know... Oh god I still see it! Theres no sub thing as ghosts... There's no such thing as ghosts......

Camp pt.3

I'm writing this on my day off. We don't normally get day off's but Mitch has made an exception for me and some other counselors (Jeremy, Tara, Collin, and some guy I don't know very well named Matt). The other counselors and I have been the ones with night shift tasked with chasing the older kids around when they decide to take a magical adventure though the woods in the middle of the night (12-3 to be exact).

Yes, that little voyage with the 14 y/o's has happened again... And again... And again... For a grand total of 3 nights with no sleep. No, it wasn't the same group, actually on the second night it was a group of girls from Kat's group (previously the most well behaved group) wandering around then stopping near the old part of camp. They are all silent when we find them (must be scared of the consequences) but in the morning they're all chatting about how the figures in the woods tried to get them.

I don't know what's going on, if it's now some sort of new camp tradition(I hope not!)or if it's just people being stupid and peer pressure. I know that Mitch is getting annoyed though, maybe next time he'll do some disciplinary action and stop this. He's too lenient sometimes.

Well now that I'm done I'm going to sleep until dinner at least. I like my sleep.

Camp pt.2

Hey my people! Sorry I haven't kept up with the blog... I just haven't had time to write anything or even check the sky... Idk this camp is still fun though.

The camp director, Mitch Shaefer, has kept us counselors busy... Even me and I'm not one of the resident counselors who takes care of the kids. I'm more of an activity manager assistant hahaha I'm too green to do anything else. But the kids are having fun, we have lots of sports and ultimate frisbee seems to have to taken off. I think some of the older campers are setting up a tournament.

At night though, the woods are off limits, safety and all that. And of course some of the testosterone filled 14 year olds got the smart idea of leaving their dorms and exploring or something. Maybe it was a bet or something I don't know... It was stupid. They got lost and one of their friends told the office. So me, Jeremy, and Tara(other counselors) had to get them.

We found them in an older part of camp, huddled near the street under a light. And God they were scared. They literally jumped when we came out of the woods, I would've laughed if it wasn't so pitiful. We escorted them back to their dorm, telling them the usual " your in trouble" thing and let them know they would be taken to Mitch (who was asleep the whole time) in the morning.

The next day, I volunteered to go pick up the boys (Austin, Michael, and Samir) to take them to Mitch. The boys were bragging to their friends how their were figures in the woods and how they were attacked and how they heroically beat up the figures until they ran, saving the camp. I had to wake up at 1 to chase these guys. I was not amused. I took them to Mitch, knowing he would exact justice for my lack of sleep. He ended up taking away their free time for a day...

So ya thats about all thats happened... I'll post more whenever I get the time.

Internet Solves Everything

Found that constellations Bootes, Circonus, Libra, and Lupus were supposed to be out tonight... Only Libra looks familiar but oh well.

With me being ADD I started reading the other posts that came up for "June Constellations" and one website I clicked was pretty interesting. It was some crazy SOB ranting on about how the Moon was God or something. It was pretty funny actually, I mean the shit people come up with... If you wanna check it out the URL is www.Lunarnight.org. Tonight

It's a beautiful clear night in Beloit. A little humid but only a couple clouds in the sky. I saw the Ursa Minor going down in the sky, but I'm sure there were other constellations I missed. I'll look it up later tonight.
